Beautiful Plants For Your Interior
OUR WOOD
We trust in the earth’s capacity to heal. We will plant and nurture change to build lively and optimistic forests. The Floral Cosmos community, in partnership with Tree-Nation, will fund these forests.

Our Reforestation Projects
Eden Reforestation Projects, Madagascar
Deforestation poses a major problem in Madagascar. The loss of habitats and the concentration of unique species worsen the situation. To tackle this issue, Eden Reforestation Projects initiated the Madagascar Reforestation Project. Its main goal is to address the widespread depletion of mangroves and upland forests.
Here’s a sneak peek at how the seedlings are thriving! We’re thrilled with their progress so far—in just a few years, they’ll grow into full mangroves, helping to restore Madagascar’s coastlines.

These small crabs play a vital role in the mangrove ecosystem, helping to maintain soil health and support biodiversity. Their presence is a sign of a healthy, thriving coastal environment.

Usambara Biodiversity Conservation, Tanzania
To prevent the unsustainable illegal use of reserves in the Usambara Mountains, we must ensure sufficient availability of trees for the communities.
A truly-effective tree-planting operation relies on educating the local community directly, and teaching them that conserving the forest is not only beneficial for the environment and habitats–it is beneficial for them as well. This is because in many cases, the true cause of deforestation revolves around economic issues and poverty. Locals around the world illegally destroy forests as a way of survival. But through showing them innovative ways to plant, we can educate them on how to plant trees that will provide produce and resources for them, while conserving existing forests. In this way, we are able to treat the cause of deforestation and not just the symptoms. It also makes sure that trees being planted aren’t cut down and provide a long-lasting impact on the environment

Carbon Sequestration: Trees are one of the most effective natural tools for combating climate change. Through photosynthesis, they absorb carbon dioxide and store carbon in their biomass, effectively reducing greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Large-scale tree planting projects help mitigate the effects of global warming and maintain a stable climate, which is critical for both local and global ecosystems.

Species Suitability: Choosing the right species of trees for the location is critical. Some trees are more susceptible to local pests, diseases, or environmental conditions than others. Inadequate selection can result in poor growth, disease, or failure to thrive.
